Uraima
Falls is a lodge of rustic design, there are 12 private cabins or
locally called "Churuatas", each one has two rooms with one bed in each
or if you prefer you can ask for a hammock to be se up. Each private
cabin has a bathroom with hot water and heater. Also each
room
has a window that allows the cool breeze of the jungle to circulate
through the interior of you accommodation. Uraima Falls is surrounded by
vegetation which also provides a very nice view from
every
angle of
the
lodge. A smooth layer of yellow sand is the base
of
the
camp which gives you the impression of being on a tropical beach in the
middle of the rain forest. Each aspect of the design has a meaning of
being there, every one who has visited Uraima Falls leave all there
complexity of there daily life behind.

In the main "Churuata"
we serve 3 daily meals in a nice and quite environment, where every angler
tells his stories of previous experiences related to other fishing
destinations.
This open design
is quite fresh and makes the visitors feel relaxed and the sensation that
they are being hosted in a private and exclusive club in the middle of the
rain forest. Also there are another 2 big open design Churuatas where you
can have a light 'siesta" in a hammock if you want before resuming your
fishing activities. The nights at the lodge are very fresh and quite, you
can hear the sounds of the jungle and look at the sky full of stars.
24 hours water service is available at the lodge and also electricity this
give Uraima Lodge a plus for cooling your soft drinks at the bar after a
fantastic day of Payara fishing.

There
is an airstrip located in the other side of the island; also there is
radio contact and direct access by air or by the river to the lodge from
the nearest town. Also the camp is managed by its owners; they will make
you feel like home, they will give the best to make your trip more than
satisfying. Uraima Falls is known for being a safe and friendly place
for visitors; this is warranted by all of our returning customers that
year after year keep coming back trying to put his name in the IGFAs
list of worlds records for Payara fishing. More information about Uralma

The Paragua
river is always your front view, you can go for a walk by its sandy beaches
and also go water-skiing in your free
time off fishing, also the non fishing companions can go for jungle tours
that we also provide to the nearest Tepuyis and mountains. The sightseeing
of the different species of birds is another spectacle Uraima has to offer,
including charter flights to the famous Angel Falls. There
is always something to enjoy for everyone, we has Mother Nature as our prime
associate here. |
